Residents along Edson Avenue complain 18-wheelers have turned their block into a truck parking lot.
"It's a residential neighborhood," said resident Arthur Ford. "I don't know why they're here."
Residents say the truck drivers take up parking spots that should go to neighbors. Beside the lack of parking, homeowners complain that the truckers camp out, leaving their litter behind.
An anonymous e-mail sent to News 12 The Bronx said the heavy trucks also damage the roads.
According to neighbors, some of the truck drivers have even blacked out their license plate numbers to conceal their identities.
The Department of Transportation says while trucks are not allowed to park on Edson Avenue overnight, it's up to the police department to enforce parking rules.
