‘Enough' – Anti-violence rally held days after teen’s fatal shooting

An anti-violence rally was held in Morrisania on Saturday, just days after a 16-year-old James Solano was fatally shot in front of a bodega.

An anti-violence rally was held in Morrisania on Saturday, just days after a 16-year-old James Solano was fatally shot in front of a bodega.
In an incident that was captured on surveillance video, Solano was shot in the neck on Dec. 23 in front of the store on Boston Road. He was pronounced dead at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
A group gathered in Morrisania where they chanted “enough is enough” and spoke about finding solutions to problems without resorting to violence.
Police are still searching for a suspect in the fatal shooting.
