Convicted ex-state Sen. Pedro Espada and his son are reportedly set to plead guilty today on remaining criminal charges.
They're scheduled to appear in Brooklyn Federal Court.
Published reports say the two reached a deal with the government on charges stemming from the former Soundview Healthcare Network. The elder Espada was convicted last spring of using the network he founded as a personal piggy bank, stealing $500,000. But the jury had deadlocked on remaining charges including those against his son.
Prosecutors say Espada continued stealing from the network after his conviction. He is also accused of tax evasion.
