The owner of Muneca Beauty Salon, with two locations along the Grand Concourse, has reached new heights with the addition of a fashion icon client.

Yulenny Garcia says she fell in love with doing nails six years ago and since then has turned her passion into profit.

She says she does all types of nails - s​hort or long - but what she loves are long nails with bold designs.

In May, Garcia became Marc Jacobs' manicurist. This comes after one of her long-time clients, Ryan Jimenez, an influencer, received a message from Jacobs asking who was the artist behind his nails.

Garcia says she still feels in shock and feels even prouder of her success as a woman, Latina and an immigrant.
