The guilty verdict for Derek Chauvin has spurred dialogue around the world, but how should you handle these conversations with your children?

Police brutality and racial injustice are not light subjects to have at dinner or in class.

Executive Director of Counseling in Schools Kevin Dahill-Fuchel says not only will children have questions, but parents should angle the conversation to ask their children questions.

"None of it is nearly as powerful as the conversation the child will have with you as a parent around this. For them to know that their opinion or their feelings or their thoughts are important to you is monumentally important to their growth and development," said Dahill-Fuchel.
