Dozens of Bronx community
members gathered in Ewen Park on Sunday for the Leaf Crunch Fall Festival.
The free, family-friendly event
featured activities for all –
including composting, planting and arts and crafts.
Volunteers of all ages raked leaves to clean up the walkways of
Ewen Park and created large piles to play in.
The Leaf Crunch was organized by the Friends of Spuyten Duyvil,
Stewards of Henry Hudson Park, and the Stewards of Ewen Park.
