The Yankees are on the verge of finishing a season that could bring with it some unwanted accomplishments.
Currently sitting in last place in the American League East, the Bronx Bombers brought with them an eight-game losing streak into their Tuesday night series-opener against the Washington Nationals.
The Yanks right now are below .500 with a record of 60-64. It’s the latest into a season the team has had more losses than wins since 1995.  If they finish below .500, it’d be the first time since 1992.
So what do Yankee fans think of all this?  Depends on which one you speak with. Some have simply turned their televisions off and decided to look ahead to football season, but many say with a few simple adjustments, the Yankees will be back stronger than ever in 2024.
