Those who take NJ Transit can expect free rides starting Monday.

For one week, NJ Transit will make trains, buses and light rails free as part of a fare holiday.

The governor says it's a thank you to riders who have dealt with service problems over the summer.

This comes about a month after fare prices were increased 15%.

Business groups are critical of the governor because the Legislature just raised taxes on the state's biggest businesses to fund NJ Transit.
