FDNY officials say one person is recovering following an overnight building fire in Parkchester.

Officials say they responded to a fire in a six-story building on Cruger Avenue at around 1:15 a.m.

Roughly 60 firefighters were on scene to extinguish the flames.

One person was taken to a hospital, but their condition is unknown at this time.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
