FDNY: 13-year-old boy killed; 5 injured in East Flatbush fire

Firefighters responded to a fast-moving fire Sunday morning at an apartment building on Snyder Avenue.
The fire started at 10:30 a.m. on the fifth floor at the corner of Snyder Avenue and East 35th Street.
Two people were injured and a 13-year-old boy died at the hospital.
The FDNY says three firefighters were also hurt and that one has serious injuries.
The deadly fire comes one week since a 9-year-old girl died in a fire just a several miles away.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of fire.
