FDNY: 1 critical, 1 seriously injured after fire in Concourse Village

The fire started on the fifth floor of the building, and it took 60 firefighters to get under control, according to fire officials.

The FDNY says one person is in critical condition and one person was seriously injured in a fire in Concourse Village on Sunday.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. at 986 Morris Avenue between East 164th and 165th streets.
The fire started on the fifth floor of the building, and it took 60 firefighters to get under control, according to fire officials.
Two people were taken to the hospital, one with critical injuries and the other with serious life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
