FDNY: 3-alarm fire rips through home in Morris Park neighborhood

The FDNY says two firefighters were injured in the Bronx house fire.

A home in the Bronx was engulfed in flames Monday morning after a massive fire broke out.
According to firefighters, the FDNY responded to 1859 Wallace Ave. at around 6:15 a.m.
Firefighters tackled the blaze and put out the fire in under an hour. About 10 people lived in the building.
Two firefighters were injured.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
