FDNY: 3 firefighters injured battling massive building fire in Hunts Point

The FDNY says the three-alarm-fire at 540 Tiffany St., began at 1 a.m. The fire department tells News 12 they were taken to Jacobi Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

A commercial building in Hunts Point is now ordered to be demolished after a massive fire ripped through it this morning.
The FDNY says the three-alarm-fire at 540 Tiffany St., began at 1 a.m. The fire department tells News 12 they were taken to Jacobi Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The Department of Buildings issued a full demolition of 540 Tiffany St., a violation for work without a permit and a partial vacate order for a neighboring buildings driveway
The cause of that fire is still being investigated.
