Fire crews say six people were injured in a large overnight building fire on Boynton Avenue in Soundview.
Citizen App footage shows a large fire at 1053 Boynton Ave. The fire started on the second floor at around 10 p.m. then spread to other levels. Officials say it took fire crews about two and a half hours to get everything under control.
Six people, including three firefighters, have minor injuries, and more than a dozen have been displaced. It's unclear how the fire started.
The American Red Cross says it has helped seven households, including 13 adults, with emergency assistance.
