The FDNY responded to a basement fire early Wednesday morning at a home on Avenue D in Brooklyn.
The fire started just before 5 a.m. and took over an hour to get under control, officials say.
The fire spread to a nearby deli and insurance store.
There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
