Officials say a woman was killed in a massive three-alarm fire in a Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment building.
Firefighters say they were called to the building on Tompkins Avenue around 11 p.m. Saturday.
They say it took nearly three hours for 130 firefighters to battle back the flames.
The FDNY says once crews managed to control the fire, a 74-year-old woman was found dead in her third-floor apartment.
A firefighter was also injured but is expected to be recover.
Officials are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
