FDNY found
hundreds of flammable propane tanks Friday night in a warehouse in Brooklyn.
Fire inspectors
were conducting an inspection in the warehouse on Nevins Street when they found
propane cylinders stacked from floor to ceiling. There was a total of 904
tanks, each weighing 20 pounds.
Fire marshals spoke with the manager of the building, Mohamed Mohamed, who said he stores and sells them to businesses, such as restaurants
that need them for outdoor dining.
He was arrested
for reckless endangerment.
