The FDNY was dispatched to an apartment fire Tuesday in Soundview.
Firefighters responded to Gleason Avenue between St. Lawrence and Beach avenues at around 8:45 a.m.
Investigators say the fire started on the top floor of the three-story building.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire has not been revealed.
