The FDNY says nine firefighters and three civilians were hospitalized following a massive fire in Brooklyn on Monday.

The FDNY says nine firefighters and three civilians were hospitalized following a massive fire in Brooklyn on Monday. 
Fire officials say they responded to the fire around 10:28 a.m. at 96 Boerum Place. 
They say the call initially came in for a three-alarm fire but was later upgraded to five-alarm.
The fire happened at a two-story commercial building, with over 200 fire and EMS members responding to the scene.
