Firefighters respond to basement fire in Kingsbridge
2h agoA fire broke out in a six-story apartment building in Kingsbridge. No injuries were reported.
It happened between West 240th and 242nd Street. Flashing lights from FNDY were seen at 5959 Broadway.
The FDNY says the fire started around 9:45 p.m. and was contained around 10:30 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire as of Monday.
