A transformer fire sent clouds of smoke shooting out of a manhole early Friday morning in Tremont.
Fire officials say it happened just before 5:30 a.m. on Arthur Avenue.
Crews spent around an hour at the scene.
Con Edison was also notified in case any customers were impacted.
