The FDNY has determined the cause of the deadly fire that claimed the lives of three children and an adult in their home on Quimby Avenue earlier this week.
According to fire officials, the fire was accidental and caused by a damaged power strip in their home.
That fire claimed the lives of 10-month-old Barah Saleh, her father 22-year-old Ahmed Saleh and his siblings 10-year-old Kalheed Waleed Ban Saleh and 12-year-old Mohameed Waleed Ahmed.
A funeral was held for the victims earlier in the week, where residents gathered to pay their respects.
