Some West Farms families been displaced following a Monday morning apartment building fire, the FDNY says.
Firefighters say they responded to Marmion Avenue after receiving a call. Neighbors told News 12 that the fire started on the fifth floor of the building at around 6 a.m.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control. The cause was not immediately clear.
A family who lived on the third floor says their home had been damaged by water and had to leave the apartment because of the severe leaking.
