The blaze happened at 1055 University Ave., between Ogden Ave. and W 165th Street.
FDNY officials say the fire broke out on the sixth story of the building.
Over 60 fire and EMS personnel were on the scene.
No injuries were reported, and there is no word on what started the fire.
