Firefighters worked to put out a large fire that broke out at a Bedford Park building on Wednesday, according to the FDNY.
Fire officials say the call for the incident came in just before 2 p.m. at a two-story private building.
The fire was throughout the entire building, and over 100 fire personnel responded to the scene.
“I’m a little bit distraught, thankfully nobody perished," said nearby resident Sidney. "I’m glad it was not on my side because I live right across the street."
Sources at the scene tell News 12 that they believe the building was vacant. Due to concerns with the stability of the building, all firefighters were pulled out.
