FDNY says it responded to a fire at a private home after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Beach Avenue at Clason Point.

Sixty firefighters and EMS personnel were on scene to get the situation under control and officials say that no one was injured.

The Red Cross says they are providing financial and temporary housing assistance to 11 adults and 2 children.
