9ds agoThe FDNY released a few tips for trick-or-treaters to keep in mind as Halloween approaches.
The department is telling kids to wear bright costumes while trick-or-treating so they can easily be seen. Firefighters say to use battery operated tea-lights and glow sticks for decorations as well.
It's also recommended that all costumes are flame-resistant.
