FDNY: Large house fire in Bronxdale displaces 7 living in the home

Fire officials and police say a Wednesday night house fire in Bronxdale left multiple people and their pets without a home.

Fire officials and police say a Wednesday night house fire in Bronxdale left multiple people and their pets without a home.
FDNY officials say the fire ripped through a multi-unit home at 3007 Barker Ave. at around 6 p.m. The Red Cross had to step in to assist the 5 households living here with emergency housing.
Seven people lived in the home with their five pets. Firefighters were able to get their pets out unscathed. No injuries were reported.
