The FDNY says that the massive 4-alarm four in Mott Haven has been deemed accidental due to electrical wiring.
Fire crews say the flames sparked in one building on East 143rd Street around 10 p.m. Friday night before ripping through three other buldings.
They say it took until about midnight to get the fire under control and it left some without their homes.
Authorities say four firefighters were treated at nearby hospitals for minor injuries, but no one else was hurt.
