The fire that tore through the six-story building on Noble Avenue Sunday night has left over 150 residents displaced in Soundview.

According to officials, the fire started in the building's attic and heavily damaged dozens of homes. Ceilings completely caved in and items like medicine and keepsakes among numerous other things were lost.

The Red Cross is assisting those residents and they are asking them to gather any physical documents that they have or that they can access online. This includes bills, a photo ID or a birth certificate to help the process.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
