15h agoThe FDNY says a pedestrian was fatally struck Saturday night in Melrose.
A News 12 crew on Melrose Avenue and East 157th Street observed what appeared to be the victim's family members crying.
A young girl said that the victim was her mother. A man who looked her father said that was his partner in the middle of the street.
It was not immediately clear as of Saturday night as to what happened, if it was a hit-and-run or if there were any other cars involved.
The FDNY confirmed that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
