The FDNY responded to a large house fire early this morning in Dyker Heights. 

The fire started at the three-story home on 12th Avenue around 4:30 a.m.

A car that was nearby was also damaged. 

Authorities say the building was vacant, but homeless people stay in the building occasionally.
