FDNY: 4 apartment heavily damaged in Mott Haven fire; 5 minor injuries

Officials say there are no reported injuries.

A four-alarm fire broke out Sunday at a six-story apartment building in Mott Haven, officials say.
A total of 39 fire units and 170 fire and EMS personnel responded to 345 Cypress Ave. for the fire that broke out around 2:20 p.m.
Firefighters are battling the blaze in the cockloft and an apartment on the top floor of the building.
The FDNY says there were five minor injuries to three tenants and two firefighters. Four apartments were left with heavy damage.
