The FDNY says one person was killed in a fire on Valentine Avenue in the Bronx.
Firefighters were dispatched to 2194 Valentine Ave. in the Bronx for a three-alarm fire that elevated to four alarms.
The FDNY says the fire started around 9 a.m. and that the wind fanned the flames, elevating it to more dangerous levels as it spread from one home to another.
At least six people and three firefighters sustained minor injuries. At least one female victim was found dead on the first floor of the building, according to the FDNY.
The cause of fire is still under investigation
