At least seven New Jersey Transit buses were destroyed by a fire Wednesday afternoon in Hudson County.
The NJ Transit buses were parked at the bus storage yard in North Bergen. It was unclear how the fire started, but large plumes of black smoke could be seen for miles.
A spokesperson for NJ Transit says that the buses were decommissioned and in storage. No one was on the buses at the time the fire started.
There are no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
