Officials say firefighters battled and extinguished a fire in a Mount Eden apartment building Monday morning.
They say the fire started at about 7 a.m. on 1414 Walton Ave.
According to police, it took firefighters about 30 minutes to get the flames under control. They say the fire started and was contained in one apartment.
Cellphone video shows smoke blowing from the fourth floor of the apartment complex.
Fire officials say no one was inside when the fire started. They say they searched the building twice to ensure no one was inside.
Officials are still investigating to determine the case of the fire.
They say no one was injured.
