History is being made this weekend for the New York City baseball scene.

Citi Field is set to host the first Dominican Winter League series games between legendary Caribbean clubs Aguilas Cibaeñas and Tigres del Licey.

"Licey has 23 titles and Aguilas has 22, and this year 24 for my team,” said Tigre Del Licey fan Rafael Haiedih.

First pitch for Saturday and Sunday’s game is at 1 p.m., each followed by post-game concerts with iconic Dominican musicians.
