People gathered at the Bronx Jewish Center in Morris Park Sunday to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah - also known as the Festival of Lights.
The celebration was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The backyard of the Jewish Center was transformed to offer fun for both children and adults.
Children were able to do arts and crafts while adults enjoyed live music on the patio.
Some attendees brought canned foods, which will be donated to those in need.
Hanukkah will end on the night of Dec. 6. The Bronx Jewish Center is hosting several events each day leading up to then.
