Fitness in Four: Exercises you can do with a buddy

Welcome back. It's time for fitness and four and partner workouts are all the rage right now. Not only do you get to exercise with your BFF, but you also get to motivate each other along the way. That's right. So I recently went to the fit house and found how working out with the friends can be both fun and very challenging. We've got three sets of work. We are ready to do. We're here at the fit house and we're doing a partner workout. So talk me through what we're doing. All right. So we have tall kneeling press. So you and I are gonna go down to both knees here. We're gonna bring the dumbbells up to our shoulder. We're gonna go shoulder to overhead. Nice, lock out at the top. We going 10 reps here. So this is working the shoulders, the core and the glutes at the same time. Ok. So while we're doing this, our partner, my partner is Jess right there. She's got beautiful hair and what are they doing? Our partners are doing an anchored sit up meg showing a more challenging variation with the weight. Jess is just doing a basic anchored, sit up and we're working the core there. We're gonna gonna switch. So we did 10, they did 15. And why am I using this as an anchor? What's the best? Locks your feet in so that you can really focus on the abs, the hips and get the full range of motion. It's just a nice little variation. You can use anything. If you don't have dumbbells, you can use a bench, you can use your bed frame, whatever you have to just lock your feet in. Ok. So now it's time to switch once we've done three sets of this. So we would keep switching with each other and then what do we do? So now we're gonna pick you out of your reverse lunch, some nice long lunch, step back, alternating legs. We're going to do six each side. Our partners are doing a high or low plank variation. Again, just focusing on the core stabilization, we're getting our legs going and they're pretty much a full body workout. So a after I get to that number, now it's time for us to switch again. And now our partner is going into the lunge and we're going into that plan. And ideally, we would do all of these exercises anywhere from 3 to 5 rounds would be great. Um Again, you know, you could rest between the two different variations, but this is gonna be a full body workout, minimal equipment, grab a friend, you know, grab some weights and get after it.
