Five Boro Bike Tour held in New York City
Thousands biked through New York City for the annual Five Boro Bike Tour on Sunday.
More than 32,000 riders traveled 40 miles across all five boroughs.
There was a rest stop at Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn, which featured a band and free activities.
Organizers say the event started 40 years ago with about 250 riders and has grown to the largest recreational cycling event in the nation.
Cyclists from every state and 60 countries participated.
Proceeds of the bike tour fund bike education programs.  Last year, 17,000 kids and adults learned to ride for the very first time because of the money raised.
