Flatbush theater hosts vaccine van, with no appointment needed

Kings Theatre in Flatbush is now offering vaccines for people in the community.
The theater has been a New York staple since 1929. It was closed for 17 months due to COVID-19 before opening and having a sellout show on Aug. 17 with almost 2,200 people in attendance.
The vaccination bus parked outside of the theater is open for anybody that is willing to receive the vaccine, and is parked directly under the awning of the iconic location. It will be parked there until next Friday, Sept. 10.
The bus is providing COVID-19 testing in addition to the newly FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine. Unlike many New York City Health + Hospitals locations, this vaccination site does not require an appointment.
