Families struggling to make ends meet will now have the support of a new food pantry in Norwood.
The Mosholu Montefiore Community Center opened its brand-new food pantry Tuesday at 3450 Dekalb Ave.
The pantry will provide much-needed items to low-income families, seniors and anyone else seeking assistance.
No immigration status or proof of income is needed.
People can donate nonperishables with no expiration dates in the front lobby.
Distribution hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays on the second and fourth week of each month.
