Fordham awards accomplished athletes, coaches at annual dinner
? Fordham University honored its student-athletes and coaches at the 72nd annual Block F Awards Dinner Wednesday.
Senior Jermaine Anderson received the Vincent T. Lombardi Award for leading the Rams? basketball team as captain. Coach Dereck Whittenburg won the Iron Major Award for guiding Fordham to a 9-7 record and a trip to the A 10 Semifinals.
Track and field junior Kerstin Greene walked away with the Claire G. Hobbs Award for winning the Pentathlon at the ECAC Indoor Championships and her other accomplishments.
