? Fordham Prep and Cardinal Spellman opened the Catholic League?s regular season Wednesday at Houlihan Park.
At the bottom of first, the Rams had runners on first and second with Mike McDonnell at the plate. Paul Blejec came in and Joe Desimone scored, giving the Rams a 2-0 lead. McDonnell went 4 for 5 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
From then on it was all Fordham. The Rams beat Cardinal Spellman 19-1.
