Former detention center transforming into homes for Bronx families
A major milestone was marked in Hunts Point as city leaders and developers celebrate the end of Phase 2 of the Peninsula, a $297 million affordable housing project. The site at 720 Tiffany St. used to house a juvenile detention center but is now being transformed into a vibrant mixed-use community.
