Former New York Giants Super Bowl champion Steven Baker spoke with students about building character and achieving goals in the Bronx on Monday.
Students at the NYC Montessori Charter School got the chance to meet Baker and even touch the Lombardi Trophy.
The former Giant visited the school as part of the "Where Character is Everything" program, which teaches students to complete their dreams.
Gym teacher Brett Goldstein came up with the idea for the program and has been running it at the school for the past three years.
Baker spoke with students about how his dream of becoming a professional athlete started when he was a child.
He says he hopes his words inspire students at the school to be the best they can be.
