Friends and family of the late rapper Fred the Godson held
a health and wellness community event Saturday, months after he died from
COVID-19.
The event, put on by the Fred the Godson Foundation, was
held in Barretto Point Park in Hunts Point.
News 12’s Michelle Ross spoke with organizers who say the
rapper wanted to uplift spirits and make sure the message “health is wealth”
was heard.
