Shake Shack is giving out free food this week — and it's all thanks to the Oscars.
Earlier this month, the burger chain announced that it would give out free food depending on how long Hollywood's biggest night lasted.
It predicted the show would run three hours and 31 minutes.
If the show ran longer, customers could get a free "Chicken Shack Sandwich." And if it ran shorter, they could get the "SmokeShack Burger."
As it turned out, the Oscars ran a little short.
So until Monday, customers can use the promo code "BIG WINS" to get the SmokeShack burger with a minimum $10 purchase.
