A French photographer's work showing the similarities of Bronx residents and the people of Paris is on display at the Bronx Draft House.
Paris-based photographer Matteo Pellegrinuzzi took a tour of the Bronx in 2015 where he photographed residents.
But he didn't develop the film until six months later when he was back home in France.
Those prints caught the attention of the public library director in Paris who asked Pellegrinuzzi to recreate the portraits with the people of his own neighborhood in La Villette.
His collections were displayed at the Parisian public library in 2016, and now they are on display in the Bronx where it all began.
For two days in early September the photos covered the walls of the Concourse Village restaurant, bringing the artistic journey full-circle.
