If you remember a book from
your childhood called “The Little Prince,” it has been turned into a Broadway
show.
The dream world of “The
Little Prince” comes to life on a Broadway stage. The classic children's book
of the same name has been adapted into a performance with aerialists, acrobats and
dancers.
Just like the story itself of a child who travels to
planets throughout the universe and
his adventures with the people he
meets, the production has crisscrossed the globe, beginning in Paris with
director and choreographer, Anne Tournie.
“The Little Prince” was written in New York back in 1942 by French
author, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, then living in New York, whose great nephew
says the family is proud of how the story has impacted generations.
“The Little Prince” is
scheduled to take audiences along on the journey on Broadway through Aug 14.
The show is being performed at the Broadway Theatre as a limited
engagement.
